The Start of The Last Month of Summer---AHH!!

 The summer is almost over! I can't believe it! Even though I really want school to start, I also want the summer to last longer. I love summer because:

1. Sleeping In
2. No Schedule
3. Vacations
4. No School

 So, even thought I want school to start, I still would like to enjoy all these things. I am sure you all feel like that too. Well, I guess good times have to end sometime, right? I hope you all have had a good summer, but it is not over, at least for me. My school doesn't start until the 22nd of August, which is pretty good. I've run out of things to say, so see ya!

Catching Up

Hello everybody! I am extremely sorry I haven't posted anything in absolutely ages!!! You would probably like to know a little bit about my summer so far. Well, I went to Minnesota and spent about 2 weeks there with my family and cousins and grandparents. Altogether, I had a fantastic ( And I'm being honest) time. I have been enjoying the summer a lot. I have been going to the pool a lot lately and have been reading a ton. Otherwise, it has been pretty uneventful. Have to go! Bye!

A Day of Leisure

Today, my friends, I am happy to say, I am home sick.(Yay!!) So, as you can probably guess, I have been watching TV. I watched "Little House on the Prairie" which was a little bit odd. Earlier, I had gotten my uniform for school on, and thought I was ready to go, but then my Mom ended up staying home, so I got to too.!!! Isn't it so fun to stay home from school! I mean, you have to make up the extra work(of course!), but other than that, it's so fun, right?! I did say that I would post pictures of my finished Starbella scarf, so I should do that. Here they are! Hope you like them!

Do you like to knit? I just recently got this really cool kind of yarn called Starbella yarn, and it makes a rufflely scarf! It is so cool! I shall try to post some pictures of it soon, but I don't exactly know how to upload pictures. Waves!

I forgot to mention that I had a ton of fun in the waves. O.K., You have to hear the whole story before you'll get it. So, one day, my Grandpa, my brother and I went to the beach.(By the way, we were still in Florida) We went there to help my Grandpa's friend hunt for Sandflees, a kind of bait my Grandpa used. We had a lot of trouble finding them, and soon my brother and I were in our own world, along with the waves. We had worn normal clothes, but thought it was more interesting to get soaked, and fall in the waves, than hunt for sandflees (my poor Grandpa, all deserted). But my mom soon came down, and we didn't find many sandflees after we befriended the waves. But it was so fun, except for the salt water in the Gulf. That was one of the most fun of alll the fun things on my trip.

Florida!

 Ok guys, I only have a few minutes, so I am going to give you a description of my time in Florida.


I just came back yesterday, after 15 hours of driving! We stayed with my Grandparents in their rented condo on Marco Island. They had a wonderful pool that I went in at least once every day. It was right on the beach -- so convenient! The last day we were there (at least I think it was the last), we went for a walk on the beach and collected beautiful shells! The day we left, our destination was Epcot. As you probably already know, that is a part of Disney World, and had such a fun time! We spent a whole day there, and went on a lot of rides! There was one that was a test track, where you would go in a go-kart-like car, and the people controlling the car would test all the things that you would normally test for a car, such as heat, crashing, speed etc. For crashing, they took you at full speed, and you almost crashed into an automatic door, when it opened!!! It was freeky!!!! But, altogether, I had a blast!!!!!

Colossians 2:6-7

" So then, just as you recieved Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

  These words are saying that we should follow the Lord our whole life, in gratitude for what He did for us. I have to admit that I don't live my life this way: in faith and overflowing with thankfulness. We all have struggled with that all the time, but we should remember to live our lives "strengthened in the faith we were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

Hi Everybody! I am so happy that it is 81degrees outside! Can you believe it? I am so happy! In my opinion, summer is definately here already. We have no spring this year, it seems like. Even though spring doesn't start until March 21, it is summer. Just to know, that is only what I think! I am going to Florida for spring break, but I don't need to, because it is Florida here, or at least practically.

Isn't this so pretty!! I believe this is from our garden. It makes me want spring to come immediately. I love spring!!!! It is so pretty with all the flowers, isn't it? I hope you love flowers, too. We have tons in our garden, I mean, not right now, but in the summer we have  lot. If you don't already plant flowers, or have a garden, you should!!!!

Awesome Pasta Sauce

  Hi Everybody!!I just wanted to share a recipe that my Mom makes sometimes and is actually making tonight. It is really good!!

   Ingredients:

    4 Tbsp vegetable oil
    1 Karge onion
    2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil, divided
    5 Garlic cloves, crushed
    1 Tbsp chopped fresh oregano
    3 (28- oz) cans plum tomatoes
    3 (28-oz)cans crushed tomatoes
    31/2 cups water
    6 Tsp sugar
    1 Tsp salt
    1 lb sweet Italian sausage links
    1 lb uncooked meatballs

1. Heat oil in a large stockpot for 30 seconds. Add onion and saute for 3 minutes. Add 1 Tbsp basil, garlic, and oregano. Saute for 1 minute.
2. Add tomatoes, water, sugar, and salt. Bring sauce to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer, and add sausage and meatballs.
3. Simmer for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally to make sure nothing sticks to the pot. Remove meats to a platter. Stir in remaining basil. Taste and add salt, if needed.
4. Serve over pasta, adding meats and topping with Parmesan, if desired.

Serves: 8

I am actually not really sure what to write.  I am sorry that I don't have much to say, but I was looking for something to post, but I didn't really have any ideas, so I am just sitting here kind of bored!!! I can't really keep my blog at one backround as you can see, so I've changed my backround yet again!! Well, Bye!!

1 Corinthians 13:4 -7

" Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.Love bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

   These are helpful verses when we think of doing wrong, but then think that this is what Jesus was exactly like!! We need His help in order to do everything that love is. 

It's Sunny!!

Harrah!! It is so sunny!! I'm so glad because we have had rainy days the past couple days, and it is finally extremely sunny!! I am so thankful that the Lord gives us sunny days and rainy days. It is nic to have a variety of weather, even though we don't always like it. Do you think so too? The Lord is so gracious to give us what we need, isn't He? I thank the Lord for all that He has done for me in my life. I hope you are thankful too, because God also gives us things that we don't even need, and He died for ud. I mean sent His only Son to give us Eternal life, just like it says in John 3:16. If you haven't already read that -- read it ASAP!!!

 This is a link to the Gospel of Mark, as I am studying it at school. I went to see this live, and it is really great. He uses expression and motion as he recites from memory all of Mark. I highly reccommend this.

I Knit Tons of Hats!!

I have 6 hats that I knitted myself and I honestly don't know what to do with them!! I f you could give me ideas that would be great!! I have come up with a couple of thoughts, but they're either selling them or giving to people. I have already given some to people, but I kind of want to sell them!! But I don't know who would buy them ----- you know what I mean?!I could put them on ebay, but if didn't know who I was giving them to - then I would feel that I don't know what the person is going to do with them!! Anyway, if you have any ideas I would love to here them!!

Mosaics!!!!

Today, at school, I was able to play around with mosaic pieces to figure out what I wanted to do for my design. I haven't picked out my design totally yet, but at least I got to mix colors that I wanted to choose. It was really fun!!! We are making coasters that are either round or square. We can pretty much do any design! It is so awesome!!! If you haven't already made mosaics with cement and actual tiles, you should!! It is sooo cool. Especially because of the colors. We have really pretty colors to choose from.

  these are great verses. We really need the LORD soooooo much, don't we. It is so hard to do what it tells us in these verses, but nothing is impossible with GOD.

I would like some ideas of things to post on my blog. So,  if you have any ideas for me, I  would love inspiration.

These I don't know of what time of what year it was, but I just love flowers. Some of these are from my garden, but the one a the bottom isn't. Don't you just love flowers, too? What kind is your favorite?

A Beautiful Night

It is a beautiful night outside!! Really pretty sunset!!  I don't know how to upload pictures, or you could just say that I am too lazy to do it right now. I am a slow typer, so my posts won't be very long. Now, back to the real point of my post. The sky is pink ontop, then slowly dying to purple, and gradully turning to ble as the sun is setting. It is also 47 degrees outside --- just the right temperature as the snow is melting onthe ground. Well, see ya!!
